Sorry Jay, I like Escape from L.A. for precisely those reasons. It lets me remember all the things I enjoyed about EfNY, amped up to how I remember it and without making me sit through the pace of EfNY.

It was really weird when you mentioned Dean Cundey because not 10 minutes before watching this video I happened to watch an old Previously Recorded (Guacamelee) where Jay was talking about him and was mystified at how he'd gone from such great movies to Jack and Jill

Great episode! I notice you guys joke about the internet jumping down your throats a lot. Thankfully (and you likely already know this) those most vocal section of your community in YouTube, Twitter, etc. is usually less than 5% of your overall viewership and often the most toxic part of the community is in the most vocal subsection. Just something to keep in mind ;)

I really appreciate these extended audio versions. First: because It gives me something for my commute. And Second: because of the cool glimpse it gives me into the editing process when I watch the episode

This was very validating! I've always felt like EFNY is an action movie with no action scenes, and that's it's primary problem. It has an action movie character, premise, look, tone, etc but no action to go with it. Makes me think what Fury Road would be like if it had no action scenes but everything else going for it
