My wife has spent all of her younger life in this house, but she was unable to recognise this background.
This is the magic of photography.
The light set up, the angles, and the use of telephoto lenses blurring the background can change a place beyond recognition in some frames, or it can make it look like a much more glamorous place in most instances.
I would boast about my ability to enhance also the beauty of my models, but honestly, that is more or less a given quality, I just have to be careful to preserve it intact.
