I hate modern cars. (Patreon)

For the stay of my Brother from Australia, I had to rent a car, because two seater sportscars are not ideal to transport 4 people + luggage around Italy...
I was given the new T-Roc, petrol, manual.
And boy oh boy do I hate this car!
Clumsy, large and weighty when there is no reason to be, because the trunk is small!!!
Modern wizardry is annoying, like the park assist that keep making noise all the time.
And you feel detached from the driving experience to the point you have to check the screen to establish the gear you're in.

The fact that it was handed to me with the front damaged and the windscreen chipped is not helping either.
One thing is for sure, I will keep away from new cars as long as I can help it, and keep my Mazda MX5 and Caterham Seven like treasures!

I know this rant is totally unrelated with Demi and her extraordinary beauty, but I really wanted to show you this model today, maybe to distract myself from bad cars.
I'm writing this after the first day of using the darn Volkswagen, and I may change idea as I get used to it, but I doubt it, and please end my miserable life in case I do. 😉
