I like to make compositions with a blurred foreground, so out of focus that you can't fathom what it is... I believe it helps in creating depth inside the picture, and guides the observer towards the main subject, in this case a stretching Rabbit.
By the way, the out of focus object in front are two branches of an olive tree.
The only element out of context in this rural setting is the collar Rabbit is casually wearing, but this stranger element is adding even more interest to the image, creating a stretching effect also for our imagination.
