**HEADPHONE WARNINGS**  

We're finally diving in! VOLUME ONE of the first Deluxe Edition - I'm still testing out camera options, if mics are needed, the angle of it all - so please note, things will likely change for the first few weeks as I get settled into a style I like and that works best.  

But in any case, this starts out...uhm...QUITE a bit different than the anime, as we see a very jaded Guts setting out to track down the demons that messed up his life, alongside a very adorable Elf that is basically ME if I were in this story! Time to start the masterpiece!

A mere Almond

I watched the anime first and then read the manga. There are pros and cons to how each started. I prefer the way the anime started. There are many people in the Berserk community who dislike Puck. They say Puck is annoying and ruins the dark vibe of the story. I disagree. I like Puck. That women that got executed was not branded. Guts "painted" that brand on her forehead with his own blood. He did it to let the fat guy know he is the black swordsman.

OH yeah, I can see how one would prefer one version over the other! I'm glad I get to see both sides, now, though. And I LOVE Puck -- I can see why people would dislike him, but I LOVE what Puck represents at this point -- definitely needed to be a foil for Guts and his dark broodiness at this point. And ooohhhhhh, Guts putting the mark on her explains so much! Thank you for that! I appreciate that and the comment! :D
