After all these episodes of character development, time, and a little (much needed) communication -- Guts and Casca's relationship crescendos into this episode and I am LIVING. Of course, there's eminent darkness on the horizon and Griffith is being tortured alive but THE ROMANCE!! I AM SHAKING!

For Mercenaries, sword play is foreplay! 😉 She stabbed him, he stabbed her back?😅 anyway, keeping comments light due to ( I can’t wait for you to read the manga) reasons! The snake demon could be from the first episode. At least that’s what we assume. I may have to watch this reaction a 1000 times more! Enjoyed it a lot!

Guts going from a brute to one of the most tender and poetic characters in the who series is just so good

This episode was great! I do want to say I always thought it was cool that Casca has a heart on her sword. To me it signifies that she wears her heart on her sword (like the saying, "wearing your heart on your sleeve"). When she fights enemies it's out of her admiration and loyalty (her feelings) for Griffith, as she wants to be his sword. But now she is taking up her sword for Guts.
