I just realized in the intro that when Madoka is laying down with the cat. Two drops of rain conveniently hits both of her eyes and run down looking like she is crying. Like one of the only visual hints that something isn't right with the intro.

Hi! I ran out of episodes on YouTube, so I came over here to annoy everyone 😜 There’s a small translation mistake in this episode. When Kyoko is talking about her father the subtitles say that he was trying to start a new religion, which makes it sound like he was going to start a cult. The words she actually used translate directly as “dogma” (or maybe creed). He wasn’t trying to start a new religion, he was trying to reform the religion from within. (Also, when the subtitles said that he was really kind and honest, she actually said he was “too kind” and “too honest”… probably better translated as “kind/honest to a fault”.)

YES, something is up with it. I think I talked about that in a discussion -- I can't remember which episode it's for -- but Madoka out here adding in all the terrifying imagery and subtle creepiness! Thank you for noting that and pointing it out and the comment!
