Not Stark doing the Himmel pose xD, no but this episode was really beautiful and I'm living for the slow burn, developement betweent he characters and their characterization as well as more worldbuilding. So this episode! Anyone who doesn't love just everything about it is dead to me! Dead! Ok, you're allowed a single nitpick, but that's it! I'm glad to see other patreons' comments have already pointed out the soiree was hand drawn, using video of professional dancers for reference, no CGI and no rotoscoping (there's abundant discussion out on twitter you can pull up in Japanese from the staff on this, so I'll believe that's accurate). Just look at this little animation from the key line art animator Myoun (seriously): https://twitter.com/nscdund/status/1735677525949292734 Beautiful! A few seconds of line art from the dance, I could watch much more like that, would be fun! When I first learned it was not CG I was pretty floored. I enjoyed watching your reaction to one of my favorite episodes a lot! Picking between spending 2-3 of your hours editing to save me 5-10 minutes of my time is no choice at all - I much prefer having the full episode reaction, so take those editing hours back for yourself to enjoy any time! Though I do understand if there's a benefit to having it all together in a YouTube video for you, but for me the full reactions are part of what I'm on Patreon for anyway! And yes, what I love most about Frieren is how it can cover a half dozen major topics/themes in about 20 minutes without feeling rushed, by the way it flashes back and returns and back again - and then when that score kicks in during the fights or montages... it almost has that Studio Ghibli feeling to it. I never really experienced other shows that did the whole 2 parts to each episode quite this well, to the point I've noticed it myself.

This episode was SO good! And ahhaha, I mean, what’s not to love? I’m glad you allow a nitpick! ^^ And yes, the hand drawing of the dance is incredible! The fact that they just used references is insane! Thank you for the links to that – I will definitely check those out! I appreciate that you all are okay with how they’re formatted on here! Thank you! And yes, the studio ghibli feel but all the themes and subject matter explored without feeling rushed or forced - it makes this series so good and then there’s still humor and action; I love it!
