Hey everyone,

I've been moving a little slow this week. I am absolutely wrecked. I've been working like 14 hour days at the moment, it doesn't leave a lot of time for getting anything else done. Video games are hard demanding work.

Anyway I havn't had much time to work on anything huge so I'm trying to at least make sure the progress keeps moving forward by just picking some side features and working on them.

Mouse move is something that I've been experimenting with here and there. I'm a little more experienced so I've decided to try another test. This is working a little better so I think I have something worth putting out to test.

Part of the reason why I didn't originally put in mouse move is that it is much more complex than just WSAD. That's because to a certain extent mouse input needs to read your mind. Context matters when your interacting in that way. If your clicking on a character, part of the environment, even where on the screen matters.

An interesting example is if you click on the ground you expect to move exactly to that point. If you click on a character you would expect to walk up to that character and stop before standing on them.

I'm going to put this in as an experimental feature for people to test. I can't promise it will stay in the game but I'm going to see if I can't get it working. I sort of understand that the only thing you use WASD for is movement so the keyboard feels a little redundant and a few people have pointed out they'd prefer mouse rather than keyboard.

I'll put it on by default but I'll make sure to include a toggle in settings so you can turn it off.
That's the only interesting news for the moment I'll have more updates next week!

Make sure you are all looking after yourselves!

Don't stress yourself out with overworking yourself, dude.

If you can't get the mouse to work please add selection of the chat box with the keyboard and customize-able keyboard keys.
