The Truth Behind Captain Thunder (Flashpoint) | Tie-In

Captain Marvel (or Shazam) in this universe was instead a hero called Captain Thunder who is summoned when six kids say that magic word in unison and transform into the hero. But where did this idea come from? Well, it actually links back to the very beginning of Captain Marvel's history from an unpublished idea from the mind of Bill Parker! Before anyone asks, yes I know that a different Captain Thunder was used in comics before the Flashpoint event in Superman #276 and apparently a few other comics predating 2011, but that is a different character. That other Captain Thunder is one kid named Willie Fawcett who had to speak the word "thunder" to turn into the hero. Similar concept, but totally different characters.
