I'm surprised you failed to mention "detective chimp" and the way that Carmine Infantino seem to love to draw monkeys and gorillas.

It was less “failing to mention” and more “decoding not to mention” because I couldn’t really fit it into the video in any meaningful way other than, “Oh, and by the way…”

While I am a 70+ fan boy, I do not do videos. In fact, I am looking for an app for my cell phone that will simulate and skeuomorph rotary dial phone :-) Infantino's work on the subtle filler piece in DC comics back in the 50s and 60s is where he started his art style for simians. This is where he developed Grodd and the other members o ape city the flash series in the 60s.
