Jopping really feels like an introduction/anthem type song and it works a lot better with the mv. It has grown on me after I've been listening to it more, but I'm not a huge fan of the lyrics... Other than that, I think the album is fine. My expectations honestly weren't that high so I was positively surprised by some parts. I just wish they had given Lucas a little more parts :(

I wasn't a fan of jopping at first either, but it grew on me after a few listens. Still not a huge fan, but I can enjoy it.

Okay.. I am sorry but I'm with Diddy on Jopping. It's okay but not really my type of vibe. But you should definitely check out the MV!!! Cuz he was right, it's a performance song, a good intro song to a concert, and the "cause when we're jumping and popping it's jopping" is a very catchy phrase, I find myself randomly spitting that phrase ever since I heard it. I Can't Stand The Rain is something very new to my ears. I have never heard a song like it before, especially the transitions. It's interesting and I feel like it would get better every time I listen to it more. I don't know if I'm the only one who heard it, but 2 Fast had a lot of SHINee vibe in it for me. It would have easily passed as a track for their last album, The Story of Light. Also the layering of the voices and adlibs on that song was something I was so familiar with because it's the SHINee sound I know and love. Super Car on the other hand has the NCT vibe, current but also futuristic. No Manners was (as I read on twitter) written by Taeyong, I agree he killed that song with his rap and singing combination. Now on Taemin being on every song, I think it's because he is the only member from SHINee. I noticed the member selection on each song always had someone to represent their original groups, hence Taemin should always be present. I agree this was a great move by SM (although many fans would argue that SooMan was being greedy on this and all he was after was the money, but business is still business you have to keep up with changing markets), because this was a great way for more people to get to know Kpop, and it would have the effect you were saying that people would be interested to know more about their original groups too. They will be more recognized. I just hope they don't wear the members out. Because aside from SuperM they are continuing activities from their original groups at the same time specifically EXO and NCT, I heard they have ongoing tours as well. No comeback announcement yet for Taemin for now. Alsoooo, since I am a Shawol ofcourse I have to say, I am really proud of Taemin. Cuz Taemin from SHINee, Taemin the soloist, and Taemin from SuperM are all very different artists. Like each one has a new side of him I never knew about. I am amazed at how he could handle all of this, and how he could separate one from another. And then off stage he's a whole other person: goofy, silly, dork, sweet, and such a baby. He's been working non stop since he was 14, he went from being called tone deaf to debuting in a super group. He really is something else, he's just on a whole different level, is he even real? 😅 Long ass comment, I am sorry but I had a lot of thoughts about this. Thanks as always 🤗

Question is...if you are not a current Kpop fan, will jopping catch and keep your attention pass this media blitz? Time will tell. In my opinion, it is a good song but the hook is not catchy enough. I hope Taemin gets all he desires from this project. Off to listen to fancam footage of Heaven since we may not get the Want repackage anytime soon.

That's amazing you got Bang Bang with you since I know how far he has to drive to get there 😭 I'm more of an old fashioned kpop fan that loves old skool catchy, melodic songs so I found "Jopping" really abrasive on first listen but it grew on me with each listen. One of my biggest fears about "Jopping" is that it was just gonna sound like a NCT 127 song which I do think it suffers from slightly (not necessarily a bad thing since I love them). I do love how completely bombastic & over the top it is. I love when you guys disagree, stick by your guns 😁 Ace's enthusiasm is the greatest! The song gets better & better for me every time I watch the music video. Ace & Diddy going full on Siskel & Ebert was cracking me up 😁😁😁😁😁

The group is heavy on members who are known for dancing/rapping....the only main vocalists are Baekhyun & Taemin which is why you hear them so often. Honestly it might've been better to switch out Lucas for another main vocalist from NCT but it is what it is. I wish they would trust Ten to sing more....

honestly ten has such a good voice but i don't know why they didn't give him a chance .. his voice sounds so different in all of the songs i don't know if that's just me but his voice sounds way more different than always

I really love that all of you got together! Will we see more of this? Or is this reserved for the specialist of occasions? lol. I like the bouncing of comments and opinions on first listens. I Can't Stand the Rain and No Manners are probably my favorite songs right now? I dunno, I need to listen to the album more, I guess. I feel like there is so much talent and some how it didn't add up to what it could have been? Whaaaaa- I also feel like the group would be stronger if they had 5 members instead of 7? I hate when people get left out- and they did it even when there are only 4 people in one song- 1 didn't get any time. Why throw them into a super group on top of their group if you aren't going to let them show what they got in the new one? Taemin and Baekhyun obviously got their time but they are already super successful in group and solo activities anyway.

This mini album seems pretty divisive. Its still very solid. It seems like most agree on that.

I've actually really started to like the album after multiple listens, especially love Super car and 2 fast. Definitely a solid project.

thinking they probably put taemin on no manners only because hes the most senior so they put him on every track, and to do adlibs. i think mark or lucas probably wouldve been best on the track but since mark was on the other four too, might as well have given it to lucas.
