2NE1 :((( Everyones favorite girl group!! So the reason why this performance was so special and the reason why the crowd was going crazy is because this was the first time we saw the group together in like a year and a half. Bom, the red head that got the most applause was involved in a scandal and she was accused of trying to smuggle illegal drugs into the country in mid 2014. The group had just released their album and was expecting to blow up bigger than ever. But because of the scandal the group was put on hiatus and it wasn't until this performance that we really saw them together again and no one had any idea CL was going to bring them on stage. We thought this would be a good sign for them moving forward but unfortunately they resumed the hiatus and ultimately disbanded in 2016. It's really sad because 2NE1 had all the potential in the world and time after time they were held back by their label YG Entertainment. The first song they performed Fire was their debut song, and the second I Am The Best is their most popular song. I Am The Best landed on the Billboard Hot 100 and was used in a Microsoft ad in the states and got and some times still gets mainstream radio play.

Yes, and the most tragic thing about the Park Bom incident was (she lived in the U.S. for a number for years after moving there in the 6th grade) was these were drugs she was prescribed after the trauma & depression she experienced from seeing another soccer player die on the field. But these drugs were not legal in S. Korea and so she was accused of drug smuggling. She is just now beginning to rebuild her career again & released a video last month called "Spring" was has happily been successful. Park Bom is the one with the ponytail in this MAMA performance.

I became Patreon because of THIS. LOVED THE REACTION! by the way the crown light stick are for VIPS (bigbang’s fandom) it was the first light stick in kpop and it is designed by GD (bigbang’s leader) himself so basically he invented light sticks😂. This MAMA was full of vips light sticks because BIGBANG dropped MADE album that year and they ended up taking half of the awards y’ll can react to their performance too it was dope. There’s a lot of collaborations between 2ne1 and bigbang but my personal favorite it THE LEADERs by GD and CL pleaseeee react to the live performance It’s just POWERFULL
