The songs i wanna play are Moonnight sonata and “our souls at night” but the difficulty is above my level. So I’m working towards being ready for those notes.

i don't play the piano myself, but it's one of my favourite instruments! i don't know if you've seen it, but there's a pianist on youtube called paul barton who did a video playing moonlight sonata to an elephant under the moonlight 😭🐘 it brought a tear to my eye

Doing good. I had piano lessons every tuesday as a kid until I got tired of it a couple years later. I was in elementary going into middle school so my brain was going wonky anyways and I didn't see piano as something worth bothering with anymore. I originally wanted guitar lessons (of course cause that was the "cooler" one). Funny enough I regret not continuing piano as something fun and see piano as being just as important and cool as playing guitar as someone that currently has a more mature young adult mindset. What sucks even more is I never had guitar lessons cause I quit messing with piano and instruments altogether. Anyways yeah only thing I would say is you need to be more light to the touch with your fingers. Maybe its the setup of the piano but it looked as if most of the time you pressed down on the keys it was too forceful. You need to be swift and elegant when playing the piano legit like shadow himself in the anime. Its not easy to do for a guy since were all about testosterone and strength..... most of the time. Its a good thing to note that whenever you move on to more keys further apart on the piano to be able to swiftly guide your hands along it. I found it better to not ever lift my hands up from the keyboard. You don't want to be too rough or else you will accidently hit extra keys that you don't want to hit. Its all about practice at the end of the day.

Wow! Really impressed! Putting two hands together is not the easiest thing to do especially when you are learning for the first time with no prior instrument experience! 🤗 Oh man, you made me flash back so hard to my childhood. I played piano for ten years and I remember being so pissed cause i started it cause I wanted to do rag time, which if you check out the music for it, it will give you nightmares with 16/16 notes, but all I was ever taught was classical and it just turned me off so much. 😒 Glad that you are starting with something that you actually want to play. Take your time and enjoy it. Also don't be so heavy handed if you can help it. A keyboard is not a piano so the sound is controlled by the volume not by how hard you hit it. Fortissimo sadly has no place in the modern world.🤭

lol you should also learn giorno theme once you feel comfortable that one's also a banger on piano solo but pretty difficult
