I tried rewatching this anime weeks ago but i couldn't because I just felt severe cringe even though I loved this on the first watch (I thought perhaps my love for anime had died 😔) . Rewatching it after chunibyo and other delusions, Im now once again having fun watching some chunibyo and i think its cool. I once again feel the same excitement I felt when i first watched it =). This dude really summons Rimuru whenever he feels like it also im on the same page as Lee. this dude accidentally succeeded at turning this girl normal and made up an entire tale to feed her to get her under his wing and it just so happened to be whats really going on (based off this episode i have not read any further) and yeah they are the same girls in the intro. the alpha and shadow relationship remind me of Ains and Demiurge LOL

I mean I always assume that with reaction content from any creator that does it, if it doesn't get many views it will be replaced by a show that has more general interest. I mean you gotta make money right? At least you're upfront about it & we know where we stand outright. That said, I hope this show gets traction. I'd never heard of it before you guys did episode one but now I'm hooked. I'd much rather watch this show via you guys (love the commentary). It seems like a crazy show & I really like the MC so far. I still don't know what to expect from the next episode but I kinda like that, I've been surprised by the first two & expect to be again with episode 3.

Yeah this has such Ainz trolling going on. Interested to know is his bullshit somehow affecting the world or is somehow just saying truthful things, but at the same time he thinks he just bullshitting =). And that ending is just to confuse us, but it's either the girls go practice and make the Shadow Garden bases ready for him, as he just said 2 years from now he would go to the capital.

If I had to guess why they’re leaving, I’d assume it’s to build an even bigger network. U remember that assassin isekai? He built up those girls then had them sorta run their own thing that funneled back to him. So maybe each of them will disperse around the world and create their own shadow garden. Just a guess tho

You are on the right track. While he is the powerhouse of shadow Garden, he has no idea what is really happening around him. this is at the core of most of the series. Episode 1 has a purpose that readers of the LN likely understand, but it also lets you know that even in Japan he has no problem killing others (he sees criminals as free game to fight) to grow stronger.

Yea think about it; we literally learn that at 15 y/o they go to the Royal Academy at capital for their next step in the Dark Knight training, and he's 13 rn, so there's presumably gonna be a 2 year timeskip after which he goes to said academy too in the capital (can't wait to see how the 17 y/o big sis looks like by then, after the puberty is fully over)
