they did this different from the manga, raphtalia splitting up was supposed to be earlier

Hmn, interesting spin on how to "split them up", since they changed how it went in the LNs. This at least fixes the plot hole they created, because now that "how we find Raphtalia" mechanic has a purpose again, which as I mentioned previously is a vital aspect in later LNs... Still though, now that I'm thinking about it, they created not one but TWO plot holes by changing how Raphtalia got split up from Naofumi. Granted, the "dress" plot point can be handled by literally anyone native to this new world, but still... it was a sort of bonding moment between Naofumi and L'Arc, so I'm really hoping they correct it properly and that L'Arc is still somehow involved with it. Ugh. I wish they'd just gone and done something like "This is where we ended S1, but now we're going back in time to revisit stuff they actually did BEFORE this happened and then we'll get back to Naofumi being Lord." instead of going through and making so many alterations and digressions from the LNs. The only thing that happens when you stray away from source material is the creation of plot holes and other errors that can just totally ruin later aspects of the story.
