so , someone somewhere who ever designed the cardinal weapons for this world, designed a cardinal book. imagine getting summoned to a world, being told you have to fight off monsters, and then them telling you a book is your weapon and you cant touch any other weapon to do it. i wonder if theres a cardinal mop and bucket.

The reason why they were suspecting the cardinal heroes was because I think I was second episode when bow hero chick became to run off looking for the bow hero it’s because she over heard somebody say that the other heros tried and failed right before the monsters attacked

To everyone who hates Rhisia... Why? In the novels she was annoying, yes (at least up until where I read) but in the show she's been perfectly fine aside from maybe the last episode of S1

Which was dumb as hell. In the novel, the three heroes broke through through defended line to go fight the tortoise. They then disappeared. How the show handled it was... Eh

because she was shoehorned into the show. she took time away from the main characters who we know from the first season. shes whiney and annoying. shes wearing a stupid mascot costume for some reason in a fantasy world. There are MANY reasons to hate her. from what everyones been saying all her backstory and development was skipped so now we just have a 1 dimensional annoying character shoved into the story. oh and also we keep getting told how shes so much better at chi and so much smarter than raphtalia and filo.

The way they handled a lot of stuff has been poor to say the least, i think we were supposed to realize the cardinal heroes actually went straight for the tortoise in ep 1 when they came up with bad/petty excuses to not join the allied effort to fight it, after they leave Natsumi asks the queen: - You okay with this? You called me and the others to here to handle this Spirit Tortoise thing, right? She then answers: - From the look of it, I didn't even need to ask. Natsumi then says "there was probably a similar event in one of the games they played". Tbh i'm not sure if the translation was ambiguous or it was just as bad in japanese.

Note that she's ten times worse in the novel. Granted, she does become great. And in terms of intelligence and mana control, she's amazing. But because they SKIPPED THE KI TRAINING ARC we didn't get to see her in action

Keep in mind that the meeting in the anime never happened in the LN's. So they wrote that whole thing from scratch. In the LN's the queen only calls them there to ask for their help in dealing with the bat familiar that suddenly started popping up, which they all agreed to help with. It was only after that, the other three heroes realized what "event" was about to start, and then literally left the country more-or-less illegally to go and prove that they were more powerful than Naofumi by taking the Tortoise down themselves.

I have to admit that this guy who just appeared Kyo Ethnina is more interesting than all the characters that are present in this season 2 so far, even Naofumi was a bit weak this season (he behaves like a good boy now). I didn't read the manga or LN but it seemed obvious to me that this Ost Horai girl has a huge connection with the turtle, I wasn't sure it was her fault but she was always suspicious so I wasn't surprised at all.

I get the impression Glass admires Naofumi to an extent; she was powerful enough that she didn't need any armour before but after being humbled a bit she returns with armour that looks a lot like his and even has the purple gem that looks just like the Dragon Emperor's gem on Naofumi's armour.
