As someone who’s watched everything if you stick through after everything that happens in episode 1, it is really good. The movie is also good too, if you get to watching it.

It's definitely controversial. There's some questionable violence but later it improves. Overall I liked it. I can't say if it's worth reacting to though. I feel like maybe it wouldn't be.

Depends. I don’t know anything about the movie and if people watch them or its a long ova etc. for example Gurren Lagann movies aren’t necessary if you seen the show. It’s my first time reading it has a movie lol

Goblin Slayer is pretty good, but I feel like people just watch the reaction for the first episode for shock value. I don't think there's a release date on S2 yet. Love is war is coming in April though, might be a good idea to get views when s3 is airing. My thoughts on Love is War is it's absolutely hilarious with some wholesome moments, and probably the most popular rom/com right now.

Goblin Slayer is one of those stories that everyone who watches anime should see. It provides an important contrast/gateway to certain anime logic and alternative storylines that add depth to the anime culture.

Goblin Slayer is great, ESPECIALLY episode 1. Yeah, it's a lot more dark and violent than what most people would expect, but it sets the stakes and atmosphere for the show. After episode 1 you immediately get what the show is about and how far it is willing to go. The violance gets tamer in later episodes, but episode 1 makes you understand why MC does what they do.

Episode 1 is basically there to establish the stakes in this world and understand why GS is the person he is. While it's still dark after it, it's nowhere near as graphic as the first one. Considering your Redo of Healer reaction, I think you and Director would enjoy it since it's not as indulgent in some things like it was.

I don't know TBH. After Slime and Spider I never felt comfortable going into a series where the goblins were portrayed as a murderous mob. Maybe it's a good series and maybe I'm missing out, but I just don't feel like checking it out at this time.

Love is war is overrated af. I won't be watching it but I can't gaurantee I will watch the reactions to goblin slayer but if you do episode 1 I will def watch that.

Read the manga, dropped the anime after ep.1 honestly the it was like redo of healer, it was only hyped because of its controversial treatment of women. But aside from that it wasnt much of a story.

these shows are too different to be compared. in my opinion goblin slayer is a average/below average fantasy show, maybe boring sometimes. love is war instead is one of the best romcom ever and it's good for reaction. must to watch

It's good. Episode 1 is there to set the tone, but rest of the season or even movie are nothing like that later on.

1997 anime > movies (at least for first time vievers). Sure movies animation is better, but longer runtime of anime is superior

If you watch Love is War, I recommend the Dub version. the main character is the Narrator, and its the best Dub i've ever heard. But, I also thing Goblin Slayer is a good choice, this was a difficult poll.

Goblin slayer is a good show, but in the realm of anime you guys have watched it’s not really anything new. Between the 2 shows, Love is War is by far and away more unique, and considered a must-watch among any anime fan. Though, I think it’s best to do both shows rather than have a poll comparing two widely different genres

I personally believe that you guys would really love goblin slayer I mean there's one season a movie and there's a second season that's TBA myanimelist has it at 7.42 also Lee you don't have to worry about names literally what the character is is what his/her name is for example goblin slayer not only the name of the show it's also the name of the main character he doesn't have a name everyone calls him goblin slayer so whatever you are in the anime is what your name is I truly hope you guys do react to this but please no Erza or Adorkable there are some dark spots in the anime other than the 1st episode but don't let that deter you from watching the anime i truly believe you and Director would love it

I agree, I wouldn't recommend Goblin Slayer to an anime newbie like Erza. It makes me uncomfortable thinking about it. Really only the first episode is bad
