the anime didnt explain it but they showed it, the caster with the world tier item was killed or extremely injured by shalltear before the item took effect/ before she could give any orders by shaltear's lance and sense it killed her/ or injured her they literally couldn't do anything, if they would approach her it might trigger a fight (that they couldnt handle) so they just left her there. and yup shes a True Vampire (highest form)/ Valkyrie it's like cheating 🙌😂 they showed her valkyrie moves in this episode and vampire (vampire side was first shown ep10 which y'all got right away) the give away for valkyrie was her einherjar ability "army of one" the clock on ainz back was special skill "goal of all life is death" it kills everything in the area even the ground or soil died and became sand, shalltear had a resurrection item that brought her back given to her by her creator.

The wait was totaly worth it. That was AWESOME. Aslo In few hours I will post novel version of [The Goal of ALL Live is Death] sequence. Cuz it is one of the most badass spells in all of fiction, and it's really sad anime couldn't do it better (I mean it is done really good, for novel readers, but there is no way any anime-only could figure out what it truly did from visuals alone)

Directors face remembering their own reactions to this show. But those were masterpiece as you were talking so much shit without actually understanding anything...it was so much fun listening to that. I even rewatched your reactions just before you started doing these with Adorkable =) ps. Have to admit Ains VA was on fire with his voice in these last episodes. Well I am still sub Ains all the way, but can appreciate when dub sounds good =)

Oh definitely she’s decisively lacking in gaming and isekai tropes in this case and several other occasions when she’s been wrong. If it’s in a genre she understands better her correctness ratios get way higher.(edit which is fun to just in a different way then her being wrong)

That spell was "The Goal Of All Life, IS DEATH, The Goal of All Life is Death: This special skill is one of Ainz's most powerful abilities and comes from the maximum level (5) in Eclipse. Eclipse is one of the hardest classes to get because it requires an Overlord with spells specialized in necromancy and instant death type magic. The Eclipse class lets the user become a true lord of death, a life-consuming Eclipse. It strengthens the instant death effect of magic and skills to the point of bypassing any immunity or resistance and killing their targets after a certain amount of time has passed. Ainz uses this special skill with '(Widen Magic) Cry of the Banshee,' and it kills everything in 100 meters. The cool-down of this special skill is a 100 hours duration. It's not possible to resist death spells enhanced by this special skill unless one uses a resurrection effect on themselves within 12 seconds. This special skill is considered to be the trump card of the Eclipse-class.

*Maybe of spoiler, but of VERY little impact, I state it because both times you guys missed what happened and so the anime wasn't clear enough* Shaltear was correct that the super tier God spell Fallen Down (which deals super holy damage in aoe to everything would take "days" to cast. Also it would do "weakness" damage to the Undead, Shaltear is vampiric, Fallen Down: Upon casting the super-tier spell, Ainz calls upon a huge pillar of blue light from the sky that will burn so bright and hot that it will appear like the whole world has turned white. After a few seconds, it will leave behind an area burned to a cinder, devoid of life. This spell deals massive damage, especially to an undead-type enemy. This spell has a 15 minute cool down timer. As he was casting it the second time, he pulled out the cash shop item, that item negates the cast time of any spell, making it instantly ready. Shaltear went for the attack out of desperation, and here's the kicker (and reason i made this post). Ainz hesitated in that moment, because he thinks of them as his and his friend's "children" he couldn't help but pause. This was all the Opening Shaltear needed, But as she was going for the kill, and about to win (she'd have healed up if she hit him and it takes 2 such spells to kill her in her gear) Aura used a spell to put "pressure" on shaltear, distracting her JUST long enough for Ainz to come to his senses and finish the spell. This is why she called out to her "shorty!" as she dying.
