This is like my 5th time rewatching this season and didn't get that until now because the subs didn't show it for me.

I know all of these posts are old but the grimoire book in this episode was actually purposely placed for bell by the goddess of beauty which is the main antagonist sexy girl that is obsessed with him. You see her with it at the end of the previous episode and said she wanted to draw out more of his inner power. Also the Soma familia is basically "addicted" to the alcohol that the soma familia make. This gets explained later on which obviously you guys have already reacted to but they want to do whatever it takes to get the money to get more alcohol for their little obsession of drinking. Its basically what a bunch of messed up and nasty drug addicts would do to others just to make sure they get money for the drugs. That is part of the position that Lilia is in right now where she is getting abused.

during my rewatch i just noticed something for the very first time. the book in his dream was asking what magic is to bell. he said its a burning fire a hot red flame unlike him whos weak so the "Fire" and he wanted magic to catch up to aiz who is as quick as Lightning "Bolt" and also he wanted to be a hero like in the fairtale his "argonaut" ability. he got all of those in one to make the argonaut firebolt spell from the book freya left to awaken his true potential.
