For anyone that has watched Soul Eater that last scene is mind blowing. It opens up so many possibilities and I have no idea where it could be heading.

I'd say the reason it doesn't have that grand finale ending feel is cuz it's still definitely continuing, the manga is still going after all so the can't really concluded it yet. Personally I prefer this approach of having hard season limits as opposed to a show like Naruto or Black Clover cause it give the manga time to pace out instead of the show catching up to the manga and using filler to hold people over. That said if you've seen seen Soul Eater the ending may have been way more hype for you given the implications. To me it was a bombshell ending and has me super hype for S3.

"Hikeshi" is the Japanese word for Fire Fighter. I think what Beni meant was that Captain Obi is the embodiment of what it is to be a Fire Fighter - always giving 110% Glad you guys kept up with this series till the end despite it having smaller numbers than other shows. Looking forward to season 3! <3

the way fire force does story telling is definitely more suited to a long running anime so season ending can feel sorta anticlimactic since its not meant to be the finale yet, season 3 and 4 are going to be absolute bangers though payoffs for season 1 and 2
