So I had a similar reaction when I first heard Morel say he wouldn't call himself strong. And clearly he isn't weak, and it's always a matter of who you're comparing yourself to - just being done with a mission with the Chairman and against the Ants anyone is going to have an adjustment to what they consider as strong. But take a second and think, what would you say was Morel's 'strongest' feat? When he first met Cheetu, he wasn't able to do much, once kinda tripped him. He later beat Cheetu not by facing him head on but by taking advantage of Cheetu's inability to stay focused. Leol he beat by sucking out all the oxygen in the area. Pouf didn't fight him straight up, so we never saw what would've happened there, although he mentioned he was ready to accept his fate before the mission began and Pouf did manage to easily take his pipe away from him when he was caught off guard, so not promising. Heck, he needed to use his own pipe as a distraction just to get past Youpi and needed Shoot to get it back for him. And after Youpi took out his smoke clones, he was so weak he couldn't even move. He never really got into a traditional fight that he came out the better. He never really displayed traditional fighting strength. It's worth remembering what he said to Killua when we first met him - that you can't judge a fight between nen users by their amount of nen. It all comes down to their abilities and how they match up. So was he really that strong or was it Morel knew his abilities and exactly how to use them while his opponents were still learning theirs? Nah. He's still strong. Stop being so damn modest Morel.

Keeping Alluka’s power into account, it is clear to see why Killua’s family wasnt worried about the chimera ant threat, this including the royal guards or even the king himself. They can literally wipe out any threat posed to them, with a wish from Alluka lol. But damn, 5 more episodes ! Can’t believe we made it this far 😭
