I've seen Lee Jong Suk in a ton of KDramas, this is the only one where for me it's easy to call him by his character name Kang Cheol, because they do such a great job establishing that Manwha character

J Man

If I were writing the manga at this point... I would have shipped the Secretary with the Bodyguard (It would also give her purpose in the story again as the traditional Drama B-Ship)

J Man

In a way, the Culprit is like the one piece? In that, there was always a One Piece, there was always a culprit, but if there currently isn't contents of the One Piece, that don't matter. The concept of the One Piece exists, ready for a writer to put contents in to fit the story. In the Culprit's case. The concept of the Culprit always existed when he killed Kang Cheol's family and W investigations was established. The missing piece ready to be filled in by the writer is an identity/face which can be anyone.

I really liked the end discussion in this episode, I really relate to all you said about hope and hopelessness and about how you might not want to live this life in these circumstances but it doesn't mean you want to die, sometimes it really does feel like that but at the end of the day we really do need to look at what we do have and like you guys said we might be having a bad day but not a bad week 😊

I think this is the book from the drama. Even some of the reviews says it is. Puuung Illustration Book Love is Grafolio Couple Love Story (Korean) https://a.co/d/1rIGSFF

J Man

LOL.... Yo! Lee's right! Take the man away, and the knives and guns get replaced with kisses and kabaedons

J Man

A lot of KDrama fans say that the prison kiss scene is of the most famous KDrama kiss scenes off all time. Especially the handcuff part

Menmjau

I think so too. And looks like there's an english edition as well. https://a.co/d/4BFZxiw there's a sequel to the book too

Michael Scott Borbon

Yep those are the books indeed ^_^ I own a copy of both the orig and sequel, (bought the Korean versions because that was on the show, then bought English versions cause I did not understand a lot of Korean when I bought it in 2016)

Imma defend secretary from adorkable's barrage of attacks lol *insert you shall not pass meme*. She has well meaning intentions.....and she's the baddest in the show imo (my real reason). Also her actress gets cast in the losing love interest role ALL the damn time, so when I see her losing I'm like "Again?! This woman needs to be protected!"

J Man

I finished the series a few years ago and Secretary as one of my favorite character arcs in the show

J Man

Wait hold up!? Secretary is also the one who gets rejected by Kang Cheol's actor in Bonus Book in favor of the older lady? Damn, getting pushed aside by Lee Jong Suk twice

Pilausky

my girl in the beginning: "I'm looking for a Man in Finance Six'five blue eyes." Thank god they brought back the villain, the romance stuff is nice and all, but its not what I signed up for.
