Will say the show seems to have received the same treatment Bleach did before TYBW such as some dialogue scenes removed this could be part of the reason of why some things feels off. Also the violence has been made more tame, for example the cat is more obviously messed up in manga and Shions' brother falling on the anime compared to being torn apart. Not saying it's bad, still love it.
