Both of these guys are two examples of the "nice guy" trope, one is the nice guy who does nice things for selfish reasons and manipulates you into feeling sorry for him or liking him (I'm talking about 12%). The other one is the type who is naively nice and waits a little too long to assert himself until he gets scolded or forced to step out of his comfort zone on behalf of others. They're both not the best but I think I was little harsh on the working bf, I am still mad at him and don't feel sorry for him but I definitely appreciate that he stood up for Seulhee today. I just need him to stand up for her at work. Not saying that Seulhee shouldn't also stick up for herself, but at the same time, in this situation, it should be him that does it first as it is HIS family, after he says something THEN it should be on her to reinforce it. It should always start with the person whose family it is. I'm even gonna take this back to QoT, it's just like when Hyunwoo was being ran by Hae-in's family, she didn't stick up for him(in front of him) so he didn't have the confidence to fight back. Sometimes you have to show you're brave and care in front of your partner so that they can believe in you and trust you. Ahhh but the accidental work kiss bruh I CALLED it, I could see this happening a mile away. I need him to step up and shut her down but I think he's gonna just try to ignore it again...

I can definitely relate to that situation a little there. On paper, he's doing nice things for her and he so desperately wants to impress her that he's doing all these things, and you don't actually dislike him either bc he isn't outright a bad person. Which makes it very easy to justify his actions and start feeling bad for him about the fact that you're uncomfortable with him instead of recognising that he indeed did cross the line and that your feelings are very much valid. He's doing all of this in a way that makes you feel like he might just be a bit dense and genuinely believes he's being good and nice. But it could very well also be super calculated and purposely manipulative. So I don't fault her for telling herself that he's sweet or whatever and ignoring her gut feeling (literally lol)

You can't tell me why because I don't know either (and I can't stand her), but the donchan's ex reminds me of beyonce for someeee reason. There's something about her face and her haircut that makes me think of one of the looks beyonce had once upon a time and I cannot unsee it.
