I almost read that as “ryoko” and was like damn Tenchi nsfw art? Yes plz. Great work regardless!

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I don't know who it is. I googled her - it's definitely my type of female character! Maybe someday I'll make art with her

Oh it’s an old 90s anime so I don’t expect everyone to know haha But she was one of the first characters to have that sort of Tsundere turned lover vibe. Also her character design is just fantastic.

I have come across this anime many times, but didn't watched it yet, although I really love the old anime. Probably, it's time to correct this omission 😛 Everything about her is immediately clear from her design and I really like what I see

It’s a harem anime so pretty run of the mill, but there are some awesome early 90s shonen elements that make it great. I’d recommend looking for a tenchi watch guide though, there is a SHIT TON of stuff out there for this franchise ha

I'm struggling right now with creating my original comic, which should either be a harem one or at least have a lot of shippings. So this is what I need) And thanks for the advice!

Go for it! Older anime I feel have a lot of great explorations into genres. It’s not like newer anime where it’s sort of just one thing the whole way through. Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, even a mecha anime like Big O all explore multiple themes. That’s what makes them good. Best of luck to you! I know you can make it your own! :)

Outlaw Star is awesome! Comletely agree. In the old days, there was a lot more experimentation, the industry was not as established, there was a lot of space for crazy or risky ideas. Now this is practically non-existent.

Outlaw Star is my favorite anime! Melfina art when? ;)))) haha But yea, most anime these days are incredibly one note. JJK or Demon Slayer, all good but just INCREDIBLY safe with their delivery. Even a breakout show like My Dress Up Darling is really only good because of how it tries to subvert the tropes but still falls back into them. Haha
