Tiniest Update 🤏 (Spoilers) (Patreon)

head empty, no thoughts except how insane it's going to feel when MC finally enters the Sun Court...

I've also been putting together a massive references doc for the brilliant composer I've been in contact with--there's already so much music in his catalog that can be implemented in the game, let alone the custom themes he wants to make for ShoH itself!--and it's got me remembering just how acutely some of these images have stuck in my brain when I think of locations and environments around Haven and Blest!

This is less of a meaningful update and more of just a random 'thinking about getting into the Sun Court and vibrating with anticipation' post... and also a plug to say that I've updated the game's Pinterest boards recently, so visual learners might be interested in taking a peek at things like the new Compound visuals and etc.! 

But alas, the Sun Court will not be in this chapter. Chapter 8 is actually split into two mini-missions around Haven, to give MC some downtime from the really high-stakes and faraway missions they've come back from, and to prevent me from having to write a really massive, sprawling chapter like the Reach, Heth Macoll, Lockwood, and Wallmire! I'm still percolating on the first mission and figuring out its actual details (I only have vague bullet points as a guide, God help me), but we know that the first mission will feature Riel, Shery, Mimir, and Chandry (thanks to your votes and suggestions)! Party composition for the second mission is still TBD in that I don't know if there will be a fourth member yet, but I know for sure that it will revolve primarily around Lavinet, Tallys, and Halek... which will be fun in terms of team dynamics LOL. The second mission in the chapter will also be where Guard-kun (real name: Alec, as decided by you) shows up again... though he'll look a little different from the last time you saw him! 😳
