April Goody - Tarot Character Page (Patreon)

Hello, I come bearing gifts!

Some time ago I commissioned the help of fukuo themes to create the foundational code for an original character page of my design. It was several months of tinkering and learning how to code the thing, and now I can finally present the (semi)-complete product to you today!

Tarot Character Page here! 

This will eventually replace the mysteriously-broken character page on the game's Tumblr someday, but for now, it is only accessible to Patrons! 

The page is also very much a WIP and uses stand-ins and substitutes in place of much of the final intended art. I conceived of the page as a place for us to put the commissioned character art we vote on and create here on Patreon, but for now, since the majority of that art is still to come, I had to use stand-ins. Some are stock photos of flowers representing the characters and their specific flowers; others are a Picrew-generated rendition; and one is a commissioned piece of art. (I will put Ayla's character sheet from February on her card ASAP, but have to figure out how to do it without horribly cropping and warping the image, lol. It's a huge file and the dimensions sort of throw the card off, so I have to figure that out!).

The final design was going to use each character's tarot card as the side picture (which would thematically make sense lol...), but of course, that has to stay a secret until the game is out and you get to unlock it yourself! So I thought our commissioned art that we work on here would be an even better thing to display. :)

What do you think? ❤ As you can see, we are missing the little pictures for Caine and Mimir... and I'm not sure I like how inconsistent the stand-in art is! Should it all be flowers? All Picrews? (It doesn't really matter that much in the end because they're all temporary substitutes anyway, but I'm picky like that.) Let me know if you have any thoughts, and have fun playing around with it!
