I double-check my work a lot; which is to say I will re-evaluate my pages at most stages of the process to assess whether or not I'm on the right track. This does not always work out for me. I'll change my mind on an expression, or a pose, only to realize several steps later that I was on the right track from the beginning. I wonder how much quicker my comic process would be if I just trusted my gut from the beginning...?

Seeing your process is always interesting to me

You can go with your first gues at times sure! But just don't be afraid to ask yourself in the end, "Is this the best I can do".

If you're wondering, then go for it more. Ones gut instinct is on point more often than not. An the more you have faith in that, the more you find you can count on it turning out good. If you find it isn't workin' out, you can always come back to what has been.

Often times I change things with the intent of making stuff as good as I can, but it is interesting how often I'm wrong!

It's a lesson in leaving things alone until I have the breathing room to fix them!
