Here, once a month, sometimes more, I will be posting short stories. There will also be other content--random thoughts I have, updates on my life and work, things such as that.

This...has been a long time coming. A future post will discuss it further, but I have spent years gripping with anxiety and holding myself back. During this time, I've written countless stories that I genuinely love but have always been too afraid to share with the world. Well, now I am. This is the start of a new journey for me. A new era, if you will. And I'm very excited to see where it takes me and hope you all enjoy the ride.

The first story, "whisperwind", clocks in at over 30 pages and was written late last year. It is very dear to my heart as it was the story that pulled me out of the deepest pits of my writing struggles. I wrote the first draft in my notebook while sitting on my porch, taking in the summer breeze. It was the first story I had finished on my own in probably three years and it inspired me to write many more.
