Martha Barthos was one of the \"lost children\". She lost her parents in the war and also had no other relatives anymore. Her parents were badly injured after a bombing and died days later in the Tiefenau-Hospital.

Martha grew up in the Trollsberger Children's Home, until she reached her legal age and she left it behind. At the time of war, the nurses of the Tiefenau-Hospital had left a lasting impression on Martha, as they were giving her alot of solace in this terrible episode of her life. For that reason, it was certain for Martha, that she would want to follow this very same path one day.
