Hi everyone! Thanks for the feedback on last week’s text and audio update. Seems it was well received so we’ll continue offering the update in both formats.

We don’t have a ton of items to go over this week, but I think you’ll be pleased with the ones we do have.

Circle of Love 1000 Patrons Oral Sex Animation Winner -- If you didn’t read the comments on the Oral Sex Animation we released last week, here’s the summary of what’s left to do: we’re still planning to release video edit 2, which features additional angles that show off more of Lanessa. We’ll also be revisiting the audio, since the voice actors did their recordings to a preview animation.

CyPunk 1000 Patrons Vaginal Sex Animation Winner -- We’re currently waiting on some audio from a voice actress to finish up the preliminary audio we mentioned last week. Once it’s done, we’ll send this back to the animation team for review.

Circle of Love 1000 Patrons Double Penetration Animation Winner -- The animation team sent back a new version this past week, and miro has already reviewed it and requested changes. Requested changes include additional reactions from Cerene, correcting some distortion in Lanessa’s shoulder and hips, and improving Lanessa’s expression and head movement. Sophia’s also still floating a bit, so we’ve made a plan on how to fix that.

The Seed of Rebirth Animation -- Raven, Cerene’s outfit, and the environment have been successfully ported into Maya. We’re making some small adjustments to the lighting and shaders to get it as close to the look of the original image set as possible.

The Seed of Rebirth Epilogue -- Miro is finishing this one up and you should see it soon. =)

Flying High image set (AS10) -- Miro is also working on part 2 this week.

The lookdev finalizations we mentioned last week for parts 4 and 5 are still in progress.

Fan Service image set (AS11) -- Miro is currently planning another preview post for outfits and styling. We’ll likely be including a poll so you can vote on your favorites too. Let us know in the comments if there’s any concert clothes you think miro should try out on Anette and Sayako.

how much time does working on these other animations, actually take away from the bloodlust movie?

the bloodlust movies probably take over a year to make with a smaller team. The Patreon content and feed will allow the A3D team to hire more animators, but in order to keep their patreons, they need to make more regular content. So i'd guess it delays the bloodlust movie a little, but not as much as we might suspect.

Probably more towards 1-3 full days are lost on Patreon stuff compared to the main project and other stuff in the background none of you know about yet :D Imo... at some point they need to bite the bullet and take a week or two to sit down and just look at what's out there and test a bunch of people that are interested in being a part time hire for this stuffs. then he'll have freed up availability to what they clearly want to get done. as atm seemingly he is putting a considerable amount of time towards images here. That is fine if he want's to do that, more so the text update from a few weeks back made it look as such they wanted to involve him far less in content here, no real direct creation role so to speak.

Another good read, Marie. Looking forward to seeing the DP animation and SoR animations the most. For photosets, I'm most interested in the SoR Epilogue right now. For AS11, I kind of really want to see Sayako doing a cosplay of a Tifa Lockhart costume for the concert (but keep Sayako's hairstyle, rather than using Tifa's fishtail/dolphin tail hairstyle). You can then have Sayako be in the front row in front of the stage (where Anette can see Sayako during the concert). Sayako starts off the concert looking like a girl (much like she did in G4E with her black dress) in a Tifa cosplay ... but then as the concert goes on and Sayako gets aroused by seeing Anette performing on stage, Sayako starts getting erect(!). But rather than Sayako's erection going DOWN her leg ... instead it is rising UP along her abdomen! Everyone else around Sayako is too focused on the band on stage to see Sayako's erection rising in front of her, but Anette is really getting an eyeful and can see pretty clearly from up front on stage what Sayako has on display for Anette! Eventually, Sayako's erection grows so big that in order to keep it from flopping around in front of her (and therefore drawing too much attention to herself from the audience around her) she has to pull the underband of her top out in front of her in order to trap the glans of her still engorging cock between her breasts under her top. At full erection, depending on how Sayako moves when she dances, the glans of her penis is playing peek-a-boo in her own cleavage for Anette to see from on stage(!) ... while no one else in the audience or on stage is in a position to see as clearly what Anette is seeing. Only other comment for Anette and Sayako's costumes ... plan to make a production out of taking them off backstage ... when they can have SOME privacy to get really busy with each other.

Seeing as they have to take a month or two just to review whats been done so far in the past 2 years of work in order to know what needs to be finished? I'd say quite a bit, but much of it is likely from working on the Store, not Patreon. At least for 2020. Time will tell if there's another excuse for 2021 (Seriously, the solution at this point is there should be no further excuses. Buckle down and deliver). Honestly last week's update on Blood Crown had me pretty worried about the workflow. Bottom line, after 10 years of business, A3D as a team simply has to commit to improving workflow efficiency on main projects. You've got independent one-man show artists like Nyl dropping brilliantly animated 8/9 minute videos with multiple money shots in roughly 6 months time, and they're only getting better at it because they laser-focus on what they intend to deliver from start to finish. Seeing as each project has had some sort of "big issue" that ends up delaying the work, whether it was having a fulltime job, not having rendering power, not having a team, and now the Store, I can only guess that feature creep only adds to these issues.

Way too much time it seems. It been almost 28 months since the last bloodlust and Miro was so hands off he had to take the whole of January to just see what was done and what needs fixing. It's even worse if they are working on the store on our dime. At least with these sets we patrons get to see something.

I doubt anyone on staff will think about it. They aren't exactly soliciting ideas from me. The only one who has been soliciting ideas from me this past year is Hold.

The overall vibe I got from Nyl2's latest release was a sense of ... luxurious indolence ... from what's happening on screen. It isn't frantic, it isn't rushed, there's no "pressure to perform" and there isn't even anyone to impress (other than the audience watching). So it's just a really relaxed (and relaxing) day at the spa ... with sex slaves (in chains). The part of it that I find hilarious from a production standpoint is that you only hear voices speaking when the face of the speaker cannot be seen (so you don't have to animate the mouth movements of the speaker). The rest of the time, is all just moaning, smooching and sound FX foley work on the sound. Yes it's a dodge, which can be done because it works (kind of), but it's not unwelcome given the context of everything else we're seeing on screen.

yes, that's true that it's difficult to compete with artists who can focus all their attention on one thing, I was actually faster with G4E vs with a team but we're close to resolving teething issues with the store and slushe and I'll be doing the same now with production... the bottom line is production animation is still the thing I look forward to working on the most, so I'm excited to finalize the current and future feature animations in the medium term we're hoping to get other projects to a point where I can mostly focus on production again
