Personally, I couldn't be happier... and couldn't have wished for a better outcome. No one deserves the chance to heal more than 10/14. David is a legacy that we are lucky to have... and I hope he remains for as long as possible. I will never want him to go. Until it's explained otherwise, I view the bi-regeneration as a closed loop. 14 was meant to regenerate into 15 down the road. Because the Toymaker triggered it too early... 15 was pulled from a future point to 'fix' the premature regeneration. (Because he can't be healed, if 14 doesn't heal.) Eventually, 14 will regenerate into 15 as it should be... and that will now be 15's past beginnings. As for the Tardis doubling... I'm going with the same thing as 15 being pulled from his future, out of 14. Ncuti hit it out with the hammer... but it could be the same effect. The residual whack of energy pulled his future Tardis out of 14's Tardis. That makes sense to me. Until RTD lays something else down.
