CG Concept Preview! V0.22 Bridget related! (Patreon)

[This post may contain possible major spoilers linked to the character Bridget and events surrounding her character. This is your chance to turn back now or possibly spoil yourself further, you decide!]

This is a bit awkward to begin showing v0.22 previews, but with our plans moving forward. We'll be caught up to v0.22 engine wise by August, so I suspect we won't have to worry about art previews feeling like they're super ahead of where the game sits. ^^"

This cg concept preview today will focus on what we'll see in Bridget's route episode 6, one of the few girls routes focused on in v0.22, while the other two are Miki and Rachel without saying anything else. What you're about to view for Bridget is completely new to the game that wasn't based on any previous moment before our Ren'py engine swap in development.

Without any context or having seen events in episode 5 regarding Bridget yet, this will be a big guessing game outside of what is obvious to us by just viewing it. ^^"  

(Finished previews for the cg scene will be shared later this month when ready, currently MarxeDP has covid and so it's awkward timing on that. There should be roughly 30+ variants as this cg is animated at times.)

It took some time to really figure out ahead of time what this cg scene would focus on.. ^^" More so when considering that I'm not in the writing draft stages with v0.22 content yet, with only rough concept notes laid out for how things proceed for this route episode of Bridget.. But I think in the end, this is the highlight cg worthy moment for her first route episode for sure! Nothing too crazy extreme, but we can probably begin to gather some input on what Bridget as a character is like.

So what can we take away from this first preview? Two characters laying in front of a.. Tv? I'd assume one is Bridget naturally, leaving us guessing who the other is...

Abort mission! They're self aware of the viewer!! :P So.. They're purposely changing their pose like this? Let's continue...

Okay, so we're back at square one again. <.< But we have more details and clearly the girl on the right is Bridget!

Finally we're getting somewhere on the mystery of the other person! But.. I don't think we've met this person before? It doesn't look like anyone we've met during episodes 1-4 at least.. Interesting...

(Gotta love the adorable padded bottoms that really seem to be coming out super cute with the angle! ^^)

Oh no!! They're self aware again! They're clearly plotting and up to no good! >.<

(Is it just me or are their diapers a bit too big looking here? <.< I guess it could be the play on the angle, but it was a worry I had to possibly adjust if needed.)

Once again, we return to the start. Still with me? Good! We have the most detail so far applied here and I'd say it's ready for coloring phases after just a little touching up on the lines. Let's play out what we can assume so far...

We have Bridget and a girl we haven't met in episodes 1-4 yet who are laying in front of a tv? Watching or playing something perhaps, which at some point the two look over at each other and clearly have other intentions in mind before changing their poses purposely...

So.. The above is where the cg scene begins and the following below is what we can assume comes next... With more detailed plotting in mind.

Which means... Animated time teasing?! >.< I can only imagine how the rest of this scenario pans out for poor Brandon..

But sadly, that is all we have for now folks! Hopefully there's still enough to be excited about for those brave enough who weren't scared of spoilers! :P
