Kickstarter video trailer and launch news (Patreon)

For those of you following along on our kickstarter news posts we've been putting out each week on our situation, you'll know that we've been delaying the launch of our kickstarter campaign until we have our video trailer finished to help ensure it has it's best shot when we launch the kickstarter.

I am sorry to inform that things with the video trailer didn't quite seem like it was going to meet expectations and with that in mind, it felt pointless to share more recent trailer versions that I was supplied with. I'm keeping a good relationship with our video editor we had working on the trailer, but we've decided to scrap the trailer and go about our ways for this.

With this in mind, I would still very much prefer to launch the kickstarter with a trailer. I'm already looking around to get someone to tackle it, but as to when we can expect the launch date for kickstarter. It's going to be some time still, I will have to chat with a new video editor and get a rough idea as to when I could expect a finished trailer and also how many people are ahead of me first. But my goal is to keep doing kickstarter news posts open to the public once every week to keep everyone informed about this.

I feel like we've always delayed the kickstarter launch for a long time already and I really don't mean to do this. From my point of view as the director of MA, aside from one other project that I've seen when searching around kickstarter. MA is a visual novel with diaper focus in it and while many different kinds of vn genres are successful on their site, it really can go either way. It could possibly stick out and see people who aren't really into the whole diaper thing see how much effort and work has been put into the project, willing to support it on that fact alone. Or it could go the complete opposite, etc.

The point is that I'd be lying if I didn't admit that I'm a bit nervous to launch the kickstarter, but even without that in mind. I really want to make sure it has it's greatest chance at presenting itself, hence the trailer. Which might seem like a tiny silly or small bonus, but sometimes it's the little things that help.

Anyways to sum the post up. I will try to have more news on the kickstarter this weekend, as I'm already looking for a video editor to tackle the trailer and once I have someone promising in mind and I have a rough idea of when the trailer will be finished. I'll give this rough expected date asap and keep it updated weekly to let everyone know if it might be pushed back slightly from delays or not.
