Happy Monday Science Team!
Happy July y'all! Already in the second half of 2024, and the crew is hard at work adding a whole bunch of juicy new goodness for you in our next build.
This week's game plans:
Finish unarmed Combat
Sillica locomotion
Trailer editing
OCD Update
New objective types for us to use ex. "Kill X enemies" or "Gather X items" or "go to this location".
Remove some back end bugs to make it easier for the ones using the tool to work.
MassAI Update
Implement new code for more dynamic crowd behaviour.
Clear out the remaining reported bugs.
Data management:
Created several data types in C++ for the sandbox mode.
Animations
Fixed reverse cowgirl manny fingers.
Procedural animation:
Head is following the motion forward vector using the absolute dot product between the direction from the head to the pelvis and the motion forward vector as a multiplier.
UI:
New and potentially final WIP widgets.
Bug fixing:
Player character walking animation no longer gets stuck when switching to sandbox while moving (today)
Finish Sub-Chapter 20 (she a big'un, fellas)

Continue to prepare the build for release. Was supposed to happen last week but some funky things outside of our control happened.
Kagura Survivors Open Beta Audio Pass
Figure out the new 3D Hash for World Partition in Unreal Engine 5.4 and how it affects our current world buildingf workflows (positively I hope xD)
