I'm preaching to the choir here, but geez I am in awe after finishing the amazingly comprehensive core and After Dark episodes about Emily Dickinson. Thank you, Brad and Kevin.

Off topic, but you had a brilliant thought, toward the end of either the core or this After Dark, that is sticking with me: "Art has no gender... If you assign one... you're basically...just suggesting the constraints of your own understanding...." Which made me think of Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian and my reservations about reading it: stupid to think this, I know, but do women shy away from it bc of its violence? (I hope I don't get skewered for wondering this.)
