Another option (and I didn't ask Suede for permission to post this- I'm going ROGUE): 

What if (only) for October I took over Suede's channel? I'd post some book content/reviews and maybe a few experiment videos. If you guys like it, sweet! Maybe I can be more involved in the future! If not, we can delete them and pretend this never happened...

It might be fun to have someone else take over for just a month, just make sure Suede is actually OK with this first though. Otherwise, this would feel wrong.

I kinda like the idea of the take over without Suede's knowledge and after a nice relaxing month off, he returns to see a bunch of new content sort of like a comedic scene in a show or something

Worth a shot of keeping the channel active with new content and when Suede is feeling better you can have a small hammy act in a video about making new content for the channel whilst Suede was busy taking care of himself.
