Are those girls mean to be goddesses or something else?

Huh, fair point - the only fruits that are explicitly named, off the top of my head, are olives and dates . The only other times that a specific fruit is referenced are the Fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, Good and Bad (what that fruit is, if it is any actual fruit, is left unsaid ), and the "fruit of a majestic tree" in reference to the Four Species of Sukkot (which is *traditionally* understood to be the etrog). I'm probably gonna have to spend a ridiculous amount of time researching why. :)

Grand stuff as always, Suede. Say, do you accept fanart? If so, where is the best platform to send it to you? Can I @ you on twitter?

I always look forward to these! Such a nice way to end the year.

Good point on the figs, I forgot about those - and pomegranates, which is rather embarrassing lol. The word that in Modern Hebrew means "Apple" appears once in Song of Songs, and a few times in Joshua, but those occurrences all seem to refer to a tree rather than a fruit, so I discounted them (as it is not clear if that the usage refers even to an *apple* tree).

2:55 nice Hell's Kitchen refrence

Usually the girls tell Brock "In your dreams". but this episode proves, not even in his dreams. At this point, he truly deserves our pity.... If it wasn't for the fact that at times, he seems to deserve it.

Now you have me questioning "Why purple?". I think its in relation to how toxic things are often depicted as purple. But I'm not sure where the color purple comes from. Best I can think of is wild berries that will give you a stomachache? But I dunno much about wild berries, much less the ones in japan.

In some magazine I read that in Japan all fruits are always peeled when served. We see that with apples here, but they'll also peel individual grapes. This is a cool little cultural detail when you consider peeled apple slices are something we reserve for kids in the west, and an adult would just eat an apple with the skin on.

Look on the bright side with the curry. At least Misty wasn't so incompetent she accidentally made GUNPOWDER by mistake. Sevens is weeeiiirrrd.

Damn this is really depressing. I really wish there were backups for these. I really didn't anticipate this happening and didn't know even the original files were gone due to corruption of your hard drive. All that work... I'm sorry, man. Here's hoping Papermon goes well for you.
