One step at a time, TWO full journeys this week! It was a tough month with a new lockdown here in New Zealand and a lot of readjustments needed. Last filler before Ecruteak!

Did you forget to put music into the latter half?

Wasn't Raikou also in the Zoroark movie? I mean, they had to share spotlight with Entei and Suicune there as well, so maybe not that much of an upgrade

Joe Crammond

wonder how long before Suede gets proved wrong and Raikou will put in an appearance

Verdant Range

We're talking about the actual show. We never seen Raikou in the show ever again.

And not a single reference to "Lone Wolf and Cub" in this whole review....

Jack Christmas

Great episodes! (Of SPJ, not necessarily of Pokemon itself.) Raikou didn't come out too badly... from a certain point of view. Suicune and Entei did get movies, but Suicune was only the minor legendary of the feature compared to Celebi, and the Entei in movie 3 wasn't even real. Pro-Raikou bias from ShoPro really.

Okay I know Houndoom's owner said "Doomy!" but for a second I thought he said "Do me!"

The Mandalorian was what came up in the scripting session.

MARCELO AUGUSTO MABUCHI

Compared to Togepi, the GS Ball is wonderful. Less annoying McGuffin, less contrived plot device. I despise Togepi.

“I also really like that it brought across a message of not judging by appearances really subtly by just having houndoom be intimidating but no one calls it out so it’s the AUDIENCE who has to overcome their biases.” This right here is exactly why I really like this episode, I just personally feel like tv shows do not do this enough. It’s why my favorite type is the Ghost type: more often than not on this show or even just in this franchise any ghost or dark types they come across look all scary and mean but in reality they’re just playful little scamps who just want to have some fun and don’t actually mean any true malice towards people. I mean just look at the Lavender Town episode, or the Sableye episode in Hoenn. The big scary dark colored goth character actually turning out to be a heroic likable dork is just one of my absolute favorite tropes in all of fiction, so I can’t help but have a soft spot for this episode.

Mark Lynn

I somewhat thought this is one of those emotional episodes like For Crying Out Loud Misty befriends young Marill even a tear-jerking ending where new friends going separate ways/goodbyes

Which is when you want to point out things he may have missed. Better now than when it's on the main page.

I actually forgot that I normally put in the music in the rough, it's been that hectic XD should definitely be fixed at YT

A Person

It’s these episodes which make me not believe you when you say there was an embargo on Dark Pokémon. I think it’s just that they don’t want Ash’s team to be too “special”.

You know, Togepi channeling Marvin the Martian is so adorably hilarious.

gregory spring

it feels weird to not have the music during the thoughts and trivia
