Suede, I should point out to you that the guy performing the theme song is Jason Rolfe, who would go on to become a fixture for the remainder of the 4Kids run of the show, by performing all of the Pokemon theme songs up until 4Kids lost the license. Also, if you've listened to the full version of Born To Be A Winner (as heard in Pokemon 4Ever), they recycled plenty more from the original theme song than just the first couple of verses.
