I think you've shared the wrong video here, that's for 132 and 133, not 135 and 136.

Agreeing with Megatron here, think you gave the wrong link.

Great video as always! The Sunflora episode is actually one of the few Johto episodes I remember watching as a kid, and while I don't think I ever caught the Chikorita episode your summary and thoughts made it seem like a very interesting episode with a whole lot of potential. I'm always a sucker for an episode based on a tight character relationship, especially if there's a cool battle scene thrown in there.

One way to remember the difference between envy and jealousy is that the latter has loss in the middle (if you misspell it, of course).

Pokemon, Digimon, Kirby...what's with kids anime making steroid jokes?

Dr. Joy, one of the best uniques of the joy line and a highly prized collectible. Sorry, my RPG player was showing.

There's different ways to think of Jealousy and Envy. How I've heard it differentiated - jealousy is for ordinary things you want to have. You can be jealous of a person's new shoes, purse, car. Envy is for the things you can never have - good looks, self-confidence, or a special relationship with someone else.

Remember the trade moral comment for the Swap Meet Episode. I do not need to hear hours of ranting of how Tauros x29 should be traded.

wouldn't a therapy Pokémon be psychic fairy?

I always thought that jealousy was the same as envy, except with added contempt for the person who has what you want. I guess it was easy to come to that conclusion because in shows where I saw it get used, the jealous person would naturally resent the person they think is taking something away from them.

so i was thinking he wouldn’t know about the sunflora costume returning, but he beat me to it.

While James activating the huge solar panels/mirrors his pun "This may be the brightest idea we ever had" Man, certainly hurt your eyes to blindness by intensity of reflected light And then when Pikachu prepares Thunderbolt, Chikorita pushes him aside, inadvertently demolishes all the solar panels yet it foreshadows Chikorita's jealousy which revealed in next episode
