So looking at the draft, it looks like a “remake” of the first review, with the same premise of being in a Pokémon MMO beta and having others join in as needed. That’s not necessarily bad, but I wonder if maybe it might be worth trying to experiment with the format a bit. One thing I like about the current reviews is that the Synopsis/Thoughts/Trivia style gives a lot of time for discussing references and allusions, along with your general opinions on why the movie works or doesn’t. I think the classic style provides less room for that in favor of more reaction gags. Maybe changing the format to a framing device that then switches to the style of your current reviews (with guests talking along with you and saying limes you might say if you were solo) might be a good change of pace.

Yeah, not a fan of the format honestly. It's very TGWTG circa 2011, and I feel like we've all grown exponentially since then. The opening framing device/skit seems excessive. It goes on forever, isn't really funny, and it feels you're only doing it because that's how you did it the first time and not because it's actually a fitting idea. Call me a boring stick in the mud, but I'd much perfer this being done in the Journey format. It's established and it works.
