On 1/7/21 I saw so many people in DC who were proud of what they did the previous day, and threatened locals (including me) with all kinds of violence in the coming weeks. That they didn’t get to make good on their threats is irrelevant to me. The spirit of 1/6 is still alive in America, and they will try again if given the chance. All they need is Trump (or someone like him) to give them permission. I have no sympathy for any of them, and this episode hardened my position.
