It's funny because these guys attempting to add respectability to Qanon beliefs is just them reinventing mainstream right wing politics in real time. 'We can't just say Jews are space aliens and we need a fascist coup to wipe the streets clean, it scares too many people off. We have to suggest those things but give ourselves plausible deniability. Like we're talking in a frequency only our intended audience can hear, idk if there's a pithy phrase to describe that'

My sister is a sovereign citizen and has been working to pill my parents for a few years. At least they still talk to me. She doesn't believe in germ theory either. She got pilled through the conspiracy heavy Wise Traditions health cult.

I don't know how, this far into the mutations of QAnon and anti-vax movements, that I still have some empathy for people like that grandmother, but I do. You can hear in her voice how much this is hurting her. She truly believes this stuff, and it breaks my heart. Even though these ideas are incredibly harmful. In a sense, people like her are victims and it makes me so angry.

Have Mike on more, he’s so enjoyable! I don’t know him personally except via occasional Twitter DMs, before I got banned, but he’s awesome and a nice vibe added to the podcast.
