To Die For by John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard, Smallville) is a hallucinatory experience: somewhere between art house masterpiece, conservative gripe-fest and fundraising drive for unpaid spousal support. We also take a moment to explore the actor / director / filmmaker's background and the reactions to his latest output. This episode led to a full melt down for us.

The gas station I work at has a latte machine.

I think the whole latte scene was just a set up for his "Black coffee matters"... joke?

That fit of laughter at the end was infectious and I was fully participating in it too, choked on my rice, tears rolling down my cheeks - THANK YOU!

What was the name of the original person the movie is based on? I can't find anything

JN

this movie is so fever dream sounding

48 Minutes of Dogs Barking

Dragged Across Concrete, also fairly conservative and also starring Mel Gibson, is a damn good movie. Run Hide Fight, made by Ben Shapiro's production company was a neat action flick

Null_null

Dragged Across Concrete rules. Guy’s other movie with Vince Vaughn also rules. Brawl in Cell Block 99 I think it’s called.

I think he was going for Gran Torino, and sees himself as Clint Eastwood

I think it's very telling when conservatives talk about how veterans and people thought that the FLAG was worth dying for. Not, like, the American people, or the principle of all men being created equal, or even their friends and family and way of life back home, not anything like that. Just the flag.
