A "holistic life coach" turns youtube comedian skewering his new age community. Things get out of hand as he evolves into a steroid-pumped right wing sycophant and conspiracy theorist. To celebrate our 200th episode we have Gareth Reynolds and Dave Anthony from The Dollop podcast as guests.

So the funny thing is that I remember the ultra spiritual video going viral and I thought it was really funny at the time. I actually looked up JP to see if he had any other funny videos and remember being disappointed. Did not think of him again until now 0.0 Also. I will be damned if I didn’t see a fucking “legalize freedom” bumper sticker at work today.

Missed this last week — congrats on the podcastiverssary, mazel tov, ya beautiful bastards 👏

The 200th podcastiverssary is also known as the “vinyl anniversary.” Traditional gifts include promotional stickers, promotional bumper stickers, and promotional wraps for disposable cigarette lighters; popular style/design categories include “podcast logo” and “obscure quote [not necessarily from podcast] with podcast logo on obverse.”

Wow, listening rn, thank you for introducing me to this JP fella, I really hate him! 😀👍

This episode was just hilarious! I laughed out loud so many times. And, like Jake said, behind all the laughs, darkness and despair. I love those two guests.

Gary McCammon

I have no idea what is WORST about Sears' routine - the content, or the smarmy sarcasm, or the damn LISPING. Ha, ha! What a witty jape! All liberal men are effeminate! Yuk yuk yuk. aaaaarrrrgh I hate him

Don't say, "my guy". It's hipster crypto racism. You're wanting to say, "my nigga," but you know that won't fly, so you say, "my guy". It's like people who say, "gosh darn it". We know they mean, "God damn it," but they don't want to blaspheme, so they substitute words. To be clear, I'm not accusing anyone on this show of racism. It's like how people say they got "gyped" without knowing how racist it is. Secondly, what's with all the Boomer talk on this show? Julian keeps using that word, but he clearly doesn't know what it means. I'm "Gen X", but barely at forty-four years old. Gen X goes from 1961 to 1979. Eddie Murphy is Gen X, for crying out loud. Basically anyone who got big in entertainment in the '90s is Gen X. The "Millennials" everyone talks about used to be called "Generation Y". We experience time linearly, Julian, so it matters what happened when. Boomers were born '46 - '64, so they're averaging about seventy. Most of the conspiratards are Gen X. Boomers are mostly dead by now, so stop blaming those pieces of trash for Qtards. You can't fix anything if you lie about the problem. Also, JP Sears sounds like Emo Philips had a baby with Matt Frewer.

So glad you guys did this segment. I’ve been following him since his first viral video. Watching his unhinged downfall since Covid has been fascinating and remarkable how many people are fawning over his content.

Not sure if you realise this, but the heads of major corporations as well as many politicians and investors tend to be about 60. Yes we need to come up with a new word for GenX because they now make up a huge part of the corporate heads but still, boomers are relevant. They're retiring so we're going to need to switch but not quite yet.

lol enough with the language police. "boomer" is now a generic term used by anyone to refer to anyone older than them. trying to argue about whether they ACKSHULLY fall into the defined year ranges makes you look, well, like a boomer.

I just discovered my first JPSears follower in the wild, apparently one of my facebook friends went full on Ron Paul Libertarian pilled in the decade since high school.
