Check out Umberto Eco's "The Prague Cemetery" for a fictionalized account that traces the history of "The Protocols" by postulating a single author who repeatedly recycled and embellished the same tropes over the decades against whatever target his sponsors paid for: Jesuits, Masons, Jews - even spinning wild conspiracies that alleged collaborations among unlikely bedfellows.

Eleanor's program on History Hit is very interesting, the second episode was just uploaded. There is some interesting material on the channel, they don't have the scope of something like Curiosity Stream, but if you are a lapsed history major like am, you'll find some cool stuff.

Hey have any of the QAA things ever brought up the weird conspiracies Ancient Romans had about Christians and also Christians at the time had about each-other? I mean, I'd love to hear the guys react to Jesus making a lady clone and then fucking it and then eating her out. Or whatever the fuck he did, I'm too tired to remember the specifics, I just remember he cloned himself in front of Mary. Hopefully Magdalene but I don't even remember if it specified which one.
