The last story felt so relevant to me, I don't have anyone in my life that has been so brainwashed by this movement but my brother has a mental illness where he believes he is infested by parasites and no matter how hard everyone tells him they aren't there he refuses to believe anything other than his own perception of reality. He doesn't leave his room and he doesn't talk to anyone anymore unless it's about his imaginary worm Infestation. Needless to say though that story really hit home for me. Keep the great stuff up, you guys are doing God's work. May the deep dish bless you and keep you all🙂

Oh shit, I've suffered from that delusion on and off for years. I didn't even realize I might have been acting irrationally until I became convinced that my roommates were also infected and tried to convince them to take the same anti-worm medication that I took. For me the biggest issue was sleeping. It doesn't matter that I know intellectually that I don't have worms crawling out of my asshole in the middle of the night, sleepy me is unfortunately a moron. Good luck to your brother, and honestly the biggest help for me was living alone (so no one could infect me through unhygienic bathroom habits) and taking otc medication for parasitic worms fairly regularly.

Its apparently not totally uncommon, it's a condition called delusional parasitosis. In my brother's case I think it stems from his abuse of amphetamines. The delusional obsession immediately reminded me of the Qanon type of irrational resistance to reality. And the last story in this episode really solidified the similarities between the two different delusions. Thanks for the well wishes too!

This is legit heartbreaking.

I had to listen to this episode in stages because it hits VERY close to home. I appreciate the work you all did on this one. As hard as it is to listen to, please keep doing these ...maybe we can find the "antidote" to these Q-delusions. Would you all do an episode on that? On how to de-program a family member or close friend? I'm at a loss.

I've lost my mom to this. It's very hard to listen to this without crying. I miss my mom...not the woman who exists now, but the mom I used to know and love. Not the woman who lives in fear of EVERYTHING, quite irrationally. Thank you for addressing this.

It brings tears to my eyes. Not just the people who've fallen victims to redpilling, but the big beating heart of our favorite podcast hosts! I think there's ultimately only one way to counter the hate and that's by remembering how to love.

The nurse thing is amazing. My cousin is a nurse and the only member in my family currently not getting the vaccine!

Since this is such a emotional stressor to people we lost to Q, maybe a live show of listener stories/podcast. Come together as a community; brainstorm, empathize and maybe discuss strategies to bring back your loved ones. At the very least, we all come together for some laughs maybe a cry, make new friends and continue to provide support via the various groups on social media.

I have nothing but empathy for people who have lost family members to this mental virus. I hope AntiQ recovers from this pain and misery.

I listened to that last one. Over and over again. Fucking hell.

Man... that last one broke me... I was not planning on crying at work. Oft. I feel so sorry for everyone caught up in this madness. And the host reads with such compassion and it just felt so real man. Hugs all around. I also want to suggest the podcast "indoctrination." It is led by a therapist who specialises on cults and other methods of control. She is amazing and might provide some help if need be

The nurse's aide at the nursing home that my mother died in assured me that drinking a hot pop(soda) cured COVID. Even as patient deaths were skyrocketing, the nursing home staff cranked up the heat to try to kill the virus. This is also Midwest (Ohio).
