Month Beginning Post: November 2023 Plans (Patreon)

It's November, everybody! Fall is flying by.

To start this update off, I am sorry to say that I completely forgot to commission anyone to do the usual guest art piece for today's post 😭. Keeping up with everything for the crowdfunding campaign made me lose track of a lot of the normal dev stuff. However, the version of Renee people voted on is still gonna get her feature on social media. Instead of a "month start" bonus image it'll just be a "Kickstarter is about to end" bonus image. So, you'll get to see it pretty soon.

Besides that, you can read about the stuff that happened in October HERE! And now here's what's coming up next-

Monthly Content Plans:

It's the final week of the OL2 Kickstarter 🎉. I'll be doing another big push for the campaign early this month and hopefully it'll end off strong. When it is over, there will be a lull period while Kickstarter collects pledges. I'll be able to focus on game progress during that window. If we get backer info during November, I'll have to spend a fair amount of time setting things up with Backerkit and our Kickstarter supporters. It might not be sorted until early December, though.

Besides that, I plan to write one new Moment and draft another. Part 2 of Wheels will get programmed and released as a beta during November as well. More could be done if I don't have to do that additional KS work until next month.

And there might be a fun announcement that's completely unrelated all those other things before November is over. We'll see how it goes.

Alright! We survived October mostly unscathed and I am so glad for that. We're almost to the point where it can be two years of relatively peaceful and consistent OL2 development. But for the rest of the year, it's gonna be a bit unclear and tricky. Of course, it's for only good reasons. Thank you so much for all the support. We'll do our best.
